Where To Read My Poems
So, my first piece is published in the online journal, The Houston Literary Review. If you want to read the two short poems, you can check it out here: The Houston Literary Review
The formating is a little awkward, but if you click on the image, then click "Poetry Issue", It's a .pdf file, and I'm on page 22.
It feels like a good first step.

I really like "I Do Not Mean Suicide."
Lovely, both.
The first one is so provocative. From a non-Christian perspective, the myth of the virgin birth is clearly a method for addressing pregnancy out of wedlock. This isn't something that people are comfortable addressing. Not sure that's what you were getting at here (among other things), but that's what it made me think of.
The second one is such a wonderful twist. Almost like a scene from a movie. Is this true? Do you chase yourself in your dreams?
dark, dark lady! always knew you had it in you...
